AI for Segmentation & Extraction
In today’s rapidly evolving dental field, AI is reshaping how professionals diagnose and plan treatments — and Vatech’s Ez3D-i software puts that power to work, enhancing speed, precision, and clinical confidence.
Featuring AI-driven tools like automatic anatomical segmentation of up to 135 structures, intuitive two-click root canal tracing with precise length and diameter measurements for Endo procedures, and smart implant planning with crown mirroring, Ez3D-i helps doctors work more efficiently and deliver better patient outcomes.
Discover how AI in Ez3D-i can transform your workflow and elevate patient care.
Extended Anatomical FOV (12×9 cm)
The Smart Plus features an innovative arch-shaped FOV (12×9 cm) that provides a broader and more comprehensive view of the dentition compared to conventional devices with the same FOV size.
For example, a standard 10×8.5 cm FOV might capture tooth #8, but if the tooth is tilted or lying on its side, there is a high probability that it will be cut out of the image. The arch-shaped volume minimizes this risk, ensuring that even hidden areas are clearly visible, reducing the chance of missing critical anatomical details.
41-layer digital panoramic images
The next evolutionary step forward in panoramic imaging. You can take a multi-layered panoramic image called an Insight Pan which provides a unique, in-depth look across a single focal trough.
Since each patient may have a slightly different arch, conventional panoramic images may occasionally miss important details which land outside of a single focal layer. Insight Pans are capable of capturing multiple-layered images, ensuring that all details are captured in a depth-added panoramic image.
FOV Size for Every Clinical Need
With Smart Plus, you can choose from a variety of Multi-FOV options tailored to each case. Smaller FOVs allow precise imaging of specific areas: you can select Incisors in the Maxilla or Mandible, choose the Right or Left side, and capture the Right or Left Molars.
For broader diagnostic needs, 8×8 cm scans provide detailed occlusion views, while 10×8.5 cm scans cover the Occlusion Center. Selecting 10×8.5 cm also gives a comprehensive Dual Arch view, providing an in-depth overview of both arches while keeping radiation dose low.
